Margaret Licausi

Margaret J. Licausi,89, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in River Bluff Nursing Home. She was born January 31, 1924 in Pana, IL; the daughter of Edward and Isabella Broskey. Graduated from West High School. She then worked for the Clock Tower as a banquet supervisor. She won an award for serving her one millionth customer. She loved Las Vegas and going to the casinos. Margaret enjoyed her grandchildren. She loved to be with people and was very special to all her friends. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include her two children, Robert (Vicki) Ciarpaglini and Mary Ann (Lawrence) Luety; grandchildren, Timothy Ciarpaglini, Robert B. Ciarpaglini, Laurie Ann (Mark) Monroe, Kelly (Paul) Christoph, Lisa (Jimmy) Sparks, Ashley Luety and James Luety; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Robert Broskey and nephews, Eddy Pawelski, Brad and Bruce Broskey; and her dear friend, Lorraine Anderson. Predeceased by her parents and sister, Betty Pawelski. We give our heartfelt thanks to the staff of River Bluff Nursing Home.
Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit, IL.
