Margaret Ann Epperson

Margaret Ann Epperson, 84, of Rockford, passed away at home Sunday, March 17, 2024. 
 
 She was born in Alconbury, England on December 5, 1939, the daughter of Fred Tarft and Margaret Crick. She attended school in England and later met her husband, David L. Epperson while he was stationed there in the United States Air Force. They were married on May 10, 1957. Margaret was a loving wife and a proud mother.
 
 Margaret had a passion for taking excellent care of her garden. Most of all, she cherished her time spent with family and loved ones, especially her grandsons who meant the world to her. Margaret was a loving wife and a proud mother. She will be dearly missed.
 
 Margaret is survived by her son, Rodney Lee (Pam) Epperson; grandsons, Brandon (Jessika) Epperson and James Epperson (Breana); great-granddaughter, Rooney; sister, Georgina (Dan) Barber; sister-in-law, Sandy (John) Kopp; special friend, Mich Barr and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband, David.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N Rockton Ave. Rockford, IL 61103. The burial will conclude in Willwood Burial Park.
