Marcelle Kopplin

Marcelle Kopplin, 79, of Rockford, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 13, 2012 in her home. Born July 28, 1933 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas the daughter of Andrew and Cora (Holley) Moore. Married Elton A. Kopplin on February 7, 1970 in Rockford. Worked for Amerock for 31 years before retiring in 1995. She was a wonderful woman who was loved by all and she will be missed greatly. Survivors include her husband, Elton; sons, Jimmy (Eva) Neece and Gary (Karen) Neece; daughters, Pat (Jeff) Herrmann and Sheila Morrison; stepchildren, Rick (Debbie) Kopplin, Mark (Sarah) Kopplin, Steve Kopplin and Cheryl (Dano Osborne) Neilsen; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister, Juanita Johnson. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Sylvia Thatcher and Geraldine Brown and brother, James. Memorial service Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Beverly Park General Baptist Church, 2105 North Central Ave.
