Makenna Elyse Johnson

MaKenna Elyse Johnson, precious baby girl of Toby and Ashley (Lindberg) Johnson, was born into the arms of angels on January 18, 2017 at Mercyhealth Hospital Rockton Avenue. Born at 35 weeks, she weighed 3 lbs 11 oz and was 17 inches long. Although MaKenna never spent any time on earth alive, she was very loved and touched many lives. She looks exactly like her big sister, Ava, and will always be by her side. Toby, Ashley and Ava made sure every day up until her passing, that MaKenna knew how much they all loved her. Their little angel will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents and big sister, she is survived by maternal grandparents, David and Vicky Lindberg, paternal grandparents, Robert and Diane Johnson, great grandmother, Sharon Johnson, uncles, Jeremy Johnson (Dana Johnson), and Erik Lindberg (Julie Lindberg), aunt, Elyse Lindberg and cousins, Jaxson and Isabella.
Toby and Ashley would like to personally thank all who were involved in MaKenna’s care during pregnancy and after, for all their love, compassion and support, especially Dr. Stewart and his team from OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center and the labor and delivery team from Mercyhealth Hospital Rockton Avenue. They are forever grateful. Toby and Ashley would also like the thank the Haven Network for their beautiful touch, pictures and time they spent with MaKenna and them after she was born. And another thank you to Erika and her staff at Fitzgerald funeral home for taking the time to care for MaKenna.

A public visitation will be held on January 26, 2017 at Fitzgerald Funeral home on Mulford Rd. from 5 to 7 p.m. Toby and Ashley ask for guests to wear red, in honor of MaKenna’s birthstone color.
