Mai B Nguyen

Mai B. Nguyen, 72, of Rockford, passed away on June 2, 2021 at Swedish American Hospital. She was born September 25, 1948 in Vietnam, the daughter of Tau Thanh Phan & Thanh Thi Tran. She married Sanh Nguyen in Vietnam on November 24, 1972. They moved to the United States in 1987. She was a member of St. Edward’s Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling with her family, especially their trips back to homeland on Vietnam.
She is survived by her loving husband, Sanh Nguyen; daughters, Thuy Tien “T.T” Nguyen (Michael H. Le) and Elizabeth Nguyen; grandchildren Isabella N. Le and Benjamin HT. Le; 2 brothers in Vietnam. She is predeceased by her parents.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2021 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Dr, Rockford, IL 61109. Visitation 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at church.
