Lyndle R. King, 89, of Rockford, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 in Rosewood.nbsp; He was born February 9, 1921 in Zanesville, IL, the son of Walter and Prudence King.nbsp; He lived most of his life in Rockford, coming here from Waggoner, IL.nbsp; He married Helen Green on June 14, 1952.nbsp; He worked for Rockford Products for many years, retiring in 1985.nbsp; He was in the US Navy during WWII.nbsp; Member of Waggoner 1 st Christian Church. Life member of American Legion Post 1207.nbsp;
Survivors include his stepson, Roger (Imogene) Sjostrom; stepdaughter, JoAnne (Donald) White; step-grandchildren, Diana M. White Claessens, Daniel (Marcy) White, Pamela (Sjostrom) Raver and Gregory Sjostrom; great-grandchildren, Meghan Raver, Alexander Raver, Andrew Raver, Hannah Raver, Kirsten Raver, Joanna Claessens, Mark White, Caleb Sjostrom and Logan Sjostrom; sister, Hazel Emery and brother, Irvene (Patricia) King.nbsp; Predeceased by his parents; wife, Helen and brother, Glenn.
