Lyle A. Bleile

Lyle A. Bleile, 89, of Rockford, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2022.

Lyle was born in Balltown, Iowa on July 23, 1933, son of Alfred N. and Lucille M. (Mesch) Bleile. He married Valia M. (Pro) Bleile on January 12, 1957. Lyle was employed for Amerock cabinet hardware manufacturing for 51 years until his retirement. He was very dedicated to his job and the company even had a day named in Lyle’s honor. Lyle enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan and used to coach little league baseball. Lyle loved to play slots at the casino and the thrill of winning. Most of all, he cherished his time spent with his family and loved ones as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and many more. Lyle will be dearly missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his 2 sons, Richard Bleile and David (Nancy) Bleile; grandchildren, Lisle (Jeremy) Grant and Julia Bleile; great-grandchildren, Abel and Olen Grant; sisters, Lois Hess, Sandy Wagar and Rita (Rick) Patters; brother, Kenneth (Margaret) Bleile and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; wife, Valia; brother, Lester Bleile; sisters, Judy Schmitt, Donna Clarke and Betty Daly and a daughter-in-law, Christi Bleile.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. located at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108. Burial will conclude at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family of Lyle A. Bleile to be established later.
