Luella F. Tufte

Luella F. Tufte passed away, March 31, 2010 after a long illness. Surrounded by family and friends, the Lord took another angel home. Survived by 5 daughters and 3 sons; Nancy McWhirter of Rockford, Linda (Colin) Anderson of Rockford, Colleen Deets of California, Bonnie Tufte of California, Harriet Tufte of Rockford, Raymond Tufte of MN, Lester (Darla) Tufte of MN and Doug Tufte of Rockford; 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Richard and Kenneth Bremseth, Freda Lobland, Ovedia Bakker and Martha Ellen Vogan all of MN; 23 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren. Preceded by her husband; parents; siblings; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Rockford Health Care and Passages Hospice. Graveside services and burial will be private at New Milford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Passages Hospice. Fitzgerald Funeral Home is assisting the family.
