Lucy Danno

Lucy Danno, 86, of Loves Park, formerly of Chicago, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Swedish American Hospital after a brief illness. Born August 8, 1932 in Chicago; the daughter of Tony and Jennie (Bertolini) Camparone. She was married to Patsy Danno who preceded her in death.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Lucy retired from the city of Chicago after 26 years of employment.
She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Patrick Danno (Bridget Beyer) and John (Marge) Danno; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy) Terlap and Vinnie Danno; sister, America Iovino; nephew, Leonard (Kathy) Iovino and his children, Dominic and Vince Iovino; numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, Martin and Joseph Camparone.
Funeral Service 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford. Visitation 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
