Lottie Marcello, 86, Durand, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013, in Medina Manor Nursing Center in Durand. She was born October 7, 1927, in Germany, the daughter of Eugene and Anna (Laun) Huber. Lottie married Anthony Marcello in Chicago on November 17, 1950. She and her husband owned several fine dining restaurants in the area. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Durand. Lottie was a member of the Grams Club in Lake Summerset and belonged to the lunch bunch.
Survived her husband, Anthony of Durand; her children, Richard Marcello of Durand, James (Diane) Marcello of Elkhorn, WI, Janice Marcello-Huber of Durand, John (Deborah) Marcello of Gilbert, AZ, and Gary Laun of Ballground, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Marcello, Tony (Amanda) Marcello, Anna (Jeremy) Archer, Daryl (Breanna) Jackson, Brian (Amber) Marcello, Jessica (Rolnado) Felizola, Jourdan (Hunter) Marcello, Tonya (Mike) Calkins, Heather (Chris) Chipain, Kristell (Brian) McCorkle, Melody Huber, Jay Huber, Ryan Marcello and Patrick Marcello; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Olivia Marcello, Codie Archer, Seth, Olivia & Nanci Marcello, Theodore & Nicholas Antoski, Ashley Calkins, Joshua Harley, Callie & Emma Chipain, Marissa, Ella & Grant McCorkle, Evan & Jacob Neblock, Zackery Bankson, Alyssa & Colton Huber.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, December 16, 2013, in St. Mary Catholic Church, 602 W. Main St., Durand. Inurnment in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Durand. Visitation from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Sunday, December 15th at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford.
