Lottie A. Kula, 97, Rockford, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 2, 1916 in Oglesby, Illinois; the daughter of Kostany and Anastasisa (Korzienecki) Domkoski. Lottie attended Rockford Central High School. She married Walter Kula on May 2, 1952. She lived a short time in Philadelphia, PA and Hollywood, CA but Rockford was her home for most of her life. Lottie worked for 8 years at J.L. Clark, as well as, Charles V. Wiese and F.W. Means. She enjoyed crochet, macramé and gardening; she especially loved being among family and friends and eating good food.
Lottie is survived by her son, James (Ruth) Kula and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Walter in 2003; brothers, John, Paul, Frank, and Nicholas Domkoski; sisters, Helen Wesson, Anna Karceswski, Stella Groncki, Marie (Kostka) Gennaro and Kathy Kmiec.
Memorial visitation from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
