Lorraine C. Meyer, 95 of Rockford died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Wesley Willows. Born in Chicago, Illinois on March 17, 1920 to Albert Cleve & Alice May Martin. Married Kenneth W. Meyer on November 19, 1941. Kenneth predeceased her in February 1977. Lorraine worked for Hillcrest Animal Hospital in many capacities. Former Secretary of American Boxer Club. Founding member of the Kishwaukee and Blackhawk Kennel Club. Dog Obedience Trainer and American Kennel Club Obedience Judge for over 50 years. Survivors; Son, Brian (Cynthia) Meyer; Grandchildren; Kent (Gwen) Meyer, Lynn (Michael Allway) Meyer and Terri Thomas; Great-Grandson, Luke Meyer. Predeceased by her parents, husband Kenneth.

Memorial Service 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, Il 61108. Chaplain Michael Allway to officiate. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation from 2pm until the time of service on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Funeral Home.
