Lorna L. Parkhurst, 58, of Sycamore, formerly of Cherry Valley, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2009 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Lorna was born September 6, 1950 in Reedsburg, WI the daughter of James and Mary (Winchell) Parkhurst. Lorna is survived by her children, Joel (Shana) and Jeremy (Nicole) Yoakum; father of Joel and Jeremy, David Yoakum; grandchildren, Allyson and Carter Yoakum, Garrett Smith and Ethan, Tabitha and Jillian Yoakum; parents, James and Mary Parkhurst; brother, Randy (Sandy) Parkhurst; sister, Deb Parkhurst; nephew, Guy; nieces, Nickole, Gina and Erin, and her close friend Eva Pierce.
