Loretta M. Buttacavoli

Loretta M. Buttacavoli, 83 of Rockford passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 in Provena Cor Mariae. Born September 8, 1924 in Independence, LA, the daughter of Dominic and Rosalie (Cinnino) Danna. Loretta married Santo ""Sonny"" Buttacavoli on September 10, 1944 in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Rockford. He predeceased her on June 26, 2000. Loretta was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, a past volunteer at church, loved gardening and taking care of her yard. She was a member of the craft club at church and enjoyed crocheting. The greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Provena Cor Mariae, the nurses with Hospice Care of America and special family friend Brad MacCallum. Loretta is survived by her granddaughter Gina (Andrew) Stauffer, grandson Thomas Correnti, great grandson Jacob Correnti and great-granddaughter Katelynn Marie Stauffer. Predeceased by her parents, husband, daughter Chera Correnti, sisters Mary Cuccia, Angelina Baggalio, Virginia Presti and brother Adolf ""Tony"" Danna. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 19, 2008 in St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
