Lorayne M. Tommerdahl, 80
Rockford-Lorayne M. Tommerdahl, 80, passed away Saturday, February 07, 2015 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born June 3, 1934, in Averill, MN, the daughter of Orville and Gwentya (Hines) Osmundson. Lorayne worked as a bookkeeper for Don Carter Lanes for over twenty years, retiring in 2003. Married Robert B. Tommerdahl, in Glyndon, MN, on July 20, 1957. He predeceased her on May 20, 1985. Lorayne enjoyed going to the Riverboats and playing slots, but most of all she loved spending time with her six grandchildren.
Survivors include son Jeff Tommerdahl; daughters Mary (Dean) Wheeler and Sandy (Greg) Levi, six grandchildren; brother Gilbert Osmundson, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by parents, two sisters, and daughter in law Lanette Tommerdahl.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, February 13, 2015 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL, with the Rev. Randy Young officiating.
