Lorane Eaton

Lorane Eaton, 86, Rockford, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 6, 2011 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 14, 1925 in Wheeler, daughter of Raleigh and Laura Ryder Brown.
Married George A. Eaton in Newton on December 8, 1945. She retired in 1969 from Kysor of Byron. She was a member of Maywood Evangelical Free Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Lorane participated in water aerobics at the YWCA and loved playing bingo and making ceramics.
She was a member of the Golden Agers and along with her husband had been part of the Cherryvale Pacers.
She loved traveling and enjoyed the wonders of her trips.
Loranes family was always her main focus and she loved them dearly.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Chamberlain Casperson (Ray), Marilyn Pomering (Kenneth) and Pamela Mahan (Bob grandchildren, Shellie Chamberlain, Cynthia Kaplanis (Tom), Timothy B. Parrott, Jennifer Mahan (fiance Brian Harty), Jeff Mahan, Paul Casperson, Laura Mendoza; greatgrandchildren, Matthew, Nicolas and Madison; sisters, Agnes Bowie and Louise Jourdan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, George, parents, granddaughter, Lisa Ann Parrott and sister, Edna Wiseley.
Loranes family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Hospice, especially Renee and Amy.
Also, a special thank you to Becky, Darla and Marsha and nbsp;her niece Bev as well as other family members and friends for their wonderful support and care.
The love and prayers from the Maywood Evangelical Free Church family will always be much appreciated.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 11. 2011 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Pastor Dave Currie officiating.
Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
Visitation from 57 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
