Lon Borgwardt

Lon L. Borgwardt, 60, Machesney Park, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 in his home.
Born August 14, 1951 in Rockford, son of Roy L. and Wanda Smith Borgwardt.
He was employed by Rogers Drywall for over 25 years.
Lon always loved his pets, enjoyed baseball, football, fishing, NASCAR and was a lifelong avid bowler.

Survivors include his brother, Jerry (Pamela) Borgwardt, Angie (Larry) Wallace, who he raised as a daughter; and their daughters, Samantha and Amanda Wallace; aunts, Helen Logan and Peggy Clark; uncle, Frank Smith and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and sister, Linda Lee.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with Rev. Brent Dahlseng officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
