Lois V. Hoisington

Lois Veerman Hoisington, 85  Lois V. Hoisington, 85, of Rockford died Wednesday, June 18, 2008. She was born July 30, 1922 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Dederick and Edna Veerman. She attended Wheaton College where she met James C. Hoisington. They were married on September 18, 1942 in Corpus Christi, TX. James died in June of 2004. In 1951 they moved to the family farm in Kishwaukee Community. Lois was a kind and loving mother. She was a member of Kishwaukee Community Presbyterian Church.   Survived by her children; James C. Hoisington, Edith (Steve) Crosier, Janet Hoisington, Dr. Martha (Richard) McIlveene, Nancy (Tom) Sanders, and Elizabeth Hoisington; 10 grandchildren and Nina Papiyeva, who was like a granddaughter to her. Predeceased by her parents; husband; sister, Ruth Williams and brothers, Marvin and Robert Veerman.   Memorial Service will be held in Kishwaukee Cemetery, July 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
