Lisa Goldberg

Lisa Lynn Goldberg, 53 of Rockford and formerly of Freeport, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. Born December 19, 1958 in Freeport,, the daughter of Dennis Frank and Judith A. Schlegel. Graduate of Freeport High School and received degrees from Robert Morris College and Highland College. Lisa was an LPN and Certified Surgical Technician and had previously worked at Rockford Orthopedic Associates and was currently employed at Swedish American Hospital, Belvidere.nbsp; A longtime and faithful member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon, was a member of the bible study group and had served on several committees. Lisa enjoyed Yoga, quilting, bicycling, traveling and reading. She was active with Chasi (Childrens Home and Aids Society) and loved going to the Coronado Theatre. Lisa was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandma who touched many lives, she will be missed greatly by all who knew her and loved her.nbsp;

Survivors include her husband, Daniel of Rockford; son, Ryan (Kristy) Woodley of San Diego, CA; daughter, Whitney (David) Lindsay of Rockford; grandson, Parker James Woodley of San Diego, CA; mother, Judith A.nbsp; Hayner; father, Dennis (Janey) Frank both of Freeport;nbsp; sisters, Lori Frank of New Mexico and Heidi Ludolph of Freeport; brother, Jeffrey (Abbe) Hayner of Freeport; brotherinlaw James (Sue)nbsp;Wilkinson: and numerous additional family members and special friends. Preceded in death by her sister, Linda FrankWilkinson and James H. Hayner.nbsp;

Memorial service Monday, March 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church 2821 N. Bell School Rd. Rockford, with Rev. Dr. Bill Ward officiating. Visitation Sunday from 14 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd.nbsp; In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to the church.nbsp;
