Linda Gail Miller

Linda Gail Miller, 68, of Rockford, passed away at home on Monday, December 9, 2024.

Linda was born July 22, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of Leslie and Zadie (Oliver) Shively. She graduated from Graham High School and later worked in the healthcare industry for many years. Linda married Steve Joe Miller on October 11, 1987, at Jefferson Heights Baptist Church. She loved music and dancing, cheering on the Kentucky college basketball team, cooking, and spending time with her dear family and friends. She also had a special love for her cats, Presley, Cece and Puddin and her grand dog, Athena.

Linda is survived by her husband, Steve Miller; 2 children, Melinda Miller and Stevie Miller (Janet Brock); grandson, Dylan Bienemann; sister, Brenda Ray; brothers, Johnny and Bobby Ray; numerous nieces and nephews and her best friend, Demetra Hallman. Linda is predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers, Michael Ray and Maurice Shively.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will conclude in Arlington memorial Park Cemetery, Rockford, IL.
