Linda L. Nania

Linda L. Nania born September 4, 1943, left this earthly worked to live peacefully with the Lord on May 31, 2010 after a battle with cancer and sudden complications. After a year long battle with lung cancer and a strong, courageous fight, our angel in waiting spread her wings, lifted and took flight. Best known for her sense of humor and speaking her mind, the best mama, nana, sister, aunt and friend, lindy was truly on of a kind. Garage sales, clunkers, decorating for Christmas, puzzles and Wheel of Fortune too. Tanning her toes and smelling the lilacs were just a few things she liked to do. Her spirit and love are still with us, well keep her memory alive everyday. The lives of so many forever changed, because she did it her way! Survived by children, John V. Nania, Donna Nania-Garland, Timothy R. Nania and Tammy Nania all of Rockford; grandchildren, Courtni Morrison, Kelli Nania, Nikki Nania, Ashley and Kaelin Nania, Rilei Riggs and Ashley Nania; great grandchildren, Jonathon Stinson and Areighana Thompson; brother, Larry (Kathy) Thompson; sister, Sandra Vasquez and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Tatertot, Whiskers, Bonnie and Reynaldo. The entire team at S.A.H, all family and friends that helped throughout her battle. Special love to Tammy and Nikki Nania for caring for her throughout. Preceded by her mother, Helen K. Jarley; son, James Loncouski; great granddaughter, Lilyana Morrison-Finch and niece, Shelley Robles. Funeral Service, Monday, June 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Interment in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 11 until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family.
