She was born April 20, 1925 in Rockford
the daughter of Sam and Josephine Giglio.
She married Louis Sola on November 9, 1944.
Louis predeceased her on March 11, 1993.
She was a member of St. Bernadette church.
She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother
known for her kind heart, generosity, and
delicious Italian cookies. Survivors include
her children Joseph(Carol), Dominic, Barb (Bob)
Hastings of Rockford; 4 grandchildren;
7 great-grandchildren; one sister Lucy
Ricotta, numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Louis, three
brothers Dominic, Vince, and Mario Giglio;
sisters, Mary Hoff and Lena Frisella.
Funeral Mass Friday, August 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at
St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave with
Visitation from 9 a.m. until time of prayer at 9:45 a.m. in the
Parish Hall. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
