Lester P. Landherr

Lester P. Landherr, 74, of Belvidere passed away on January 1, 2014, in his home. Born June 13, 1939, in Morrison , Illinois , the son of Harold and Vera (Rick) Landherr. He married Margaret M. Ciciora on December 29, 1962, in Calumet City . Lester was a Business Education teacher at Thornton Township School District 205 and Wheaton Warrenville School District 200. He was a member of United Methodist Church , the Elks Club and the Moose Club.

Survived by his wife, Margaret; daughters, Cindy Harris, Teri (Roger Kohls) Landherr, Karen (Pete) Sciortino and Vicki Landherr; son, Steve Landherr; grandchildren, Tara , Jordan and Cori Harris, Hope Kohls and Shawntay, P.J., Tony and Logan Sciortino; brothers, Don, Jim and Glenn; sister, Glenda Ingram and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Vera and Harold, and brother, H. Rudy Landherr.
