Lawrence A. Pozzi

Lawrence A. "Larry" Pozzi, 76, of Rockford, passed away on Monday, June 14 in his home. Born on February 15, 1934 in Rockford; son of Angelo and Maria (Rogera) Pozzi. Married Anna M. McGuire in Rockford on November 17, 1955, she predeceased him in March 2009. Larry was President of Park Molded Specialties and retired in 2000. He was a lifelong member of St. James Catholic Church and recently attended St. Rita Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Notre Dame Fan. Larry loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.Survivors include his son, Mark Pozzi of Omaha, NE; daughters, Theresa (Rick) Thompson of Byron, Mary (Rick) Seehaver of Rockford and Barbara Hamm (fianca©, Dave Knudson) of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Elizabeth Pozzi, Nicholas (Abby) Thompson, Sarah Thompson, Jessica, Anna and Michael Seehaver; and special friends, Leonard and Roberta Walter. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Harry Pozzi.A special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Dr. Juliette Kalweit for their kind and compassionate care.Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am Friday, June 18, 2010 at St. Rita Catholic Church with Monsignor Gerald Kobbeman and Father William Wentink as concelebrants. Entombment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 5:00 7:00pm Thursday, June 17 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Rockford, IL. with the Rosary recited at 6:45pm. Visitation also from 9:00am until time of service on Friday at the church. To
