Laura Brien

Laura ""Laurie"" Brien died unexpectedly April 19, 2009 passing joyfully into the arms of her awaiting father, John Dixon. She leaves behind her daughter Katie, whom she gifted with her beauty, wit, and charm; her son Michael whom she blessed with her looks, strength, and intelligence, as well as her best friend and husband John, who never stopped believing in her. Born Laura Jeanne Dixon she and John were married September 15, 1984. Through all her adversity, Laurie never stopped putting others first. She generously cared for and tried to help others, even perfect strangers. She was an intelligent, strong willed and creative woman. Grapevine decorations, candy wreaths, concrete garden blocks and a knack for decorating and putting colors together. She will be missed terribly by her loving family, including her mother Judith Dixon, sister Kathryn Ginn, her brother David (Cheryl) Dixon and their children Jake, Bryce, Mark and other extended families too numerous to list. A memorial visitation will be held April 24, 2009 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. from 5-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Willwood Burial Park.
