Larry D. Sutterfield

Larry D. Sutterfield, 51 Loving Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and Uncle Avid Harley Rider Larry D. Sutterfield, 51 of Rockford, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 in Rapid City, SD. Born October 18, 1955 in Harrisburg, Ark, the son of Ray M. Cathey and Geraldine (Murray) Smith. He moved to Rockford in 1974 and married Bonnie L. Champion on Jan. 4, 1975. Worked a number of years for Elco Tool and was currently employed by ITW Shakeproof Industrial. Larry was a current member of the SM & SF Club, The Lithuanian Club and The Eagles Club. He was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle rider and enjoyed fishing. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of his friends that were with him and are helping to bring his things home. Survivors include his sons; Larry (Yehlen) and Steven; grandson, Aaron; mother Geraldine Smith; Sister Pamela (Bob Summers) Gabel and his dear friends Johnny and Kenny Brewer. He was preceded in death by his father and sister Sharon Whitmire. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Apostle Don Lyon of Faith Center Church officiating. Interment in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, Aug. 12, 07 from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home and will continue on Monday from 10-10:45 a.m.
