Khamkeo Sananisai

Khamkeo Sananisai, 90, of Rockford, died on October 12, 2008 at Swedish American Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Khamkeo was born November 25, 1917 in China the son of Sal and Yenun Yentuk. Khamkeo later married Ai Sananisai in Laos. Khamkeo was a soldier in the Laos Army until retiring in 1970. He moved from Laos to the United States in 1979. Khamkeo was a member of Ratanaram Buddhist Temple. He was kind, giving, humble and spiritual individual. Khamkeo is survived by his wife, Ai Sananisai; his children, Phuth Sananysay, Boonmee Sananisai, and Duangchai Sananisai; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Special thanks to CCU staff at Swedish American who make his final journey a pleasant one and all the supporter who have help to pick up afterward. Funeral services for Khamkeo will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 3-6 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL.
