Kenneth Marner

Kenneth V. Marner 83 of Rockford passed away Thursday july 12, 2012 in Rockford Memorial Hospital.nbsp; He was born June 19, 1929 in Iowa, the son of Vernon and Sadie Marner.nbsp; He was married to Helen Hutchinson for 56 years.nbsp; She predeceased him on April 15, 2008.nbsp; Ken was in the Navy from 1950 to 1954.nbsp; He graduated from Kinross High school in Iowa in 1946, he then graduated from St Ambrose College in 1959.nbsp; He was employed by Hamilton Sunstrand, retiring as purchasing Manager in 1991 after 32 and a half years.

Survivors include his Five children, Robert (Debbie) of Timberlane Village, Mary Helen of Las Vegas, Jeff (Jane) of Rockford, James (Laura) of Loves Park and John of Rockford.nbsp; Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.nbsp; Sisters, Ruth of Wellman, IA and Fanni of Gosen IN.nbsp; Predeceased by his parents.nbsp;nbsp; wife, Helen.nbsp;nbsp; Brothers, Galen, Robert and Dale.nbsp; Sister, Marietta.

Funeral Mass at 10:30am Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in St Patrick Church with Father Paul Lipinski officiating.nbsp; Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon, IL.nbsp; Visitation from 5pm until 7pm Monday July 16 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel with Rosary at 7pm. nbsp;Visitation also from 9:30 until time of service Tuesday in the church.nbsp; nbsp;In lieu of flowers memorials to Poor Clares Corpus Christi Monastery.nbsp; Express online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
