Kenneth "Ken" J. Cook

Kenneth “Ken” J. Cook, 80, Rockford, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born on October 11, 1942, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, the son of Clarence and Anne (Kingcade) Cook. Ken married Phyllis Cook in Walnut Ridge on October 19, 1963. Ken was employed at Rockford Drop Forge for 40 years, retiring as a Quality Control Supervisor.

Survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; his daughter, Tracy (Doug) Ditman and his son, Mark (Gerri Stagner) Cook, all of Rockford; his grandchildren, Heather (Zack) Pennington, Chad Ditman, Ashley and Alyssa Cook; his sister, Shirley (Sam) Barnett. Predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert Cook.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford with Reverend Dean Parker officiating.
