Ken A. Neal

Ken Neal, 60, Cherry Valley, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012.He was born January 16, 1952, in Bolivar, Missouri, the son of Noble and Lola Neal.He married Mary in 1978.She passed away September 15, 2008. Ken was a graduate of the University of Missouri where he earned his Bachelors degree in engineering. He was collector of many things and an extremely proud grandpa.Survived by his children, Jason (Carlee) of Alton, Brian of Cherry Valley, and Heather (fianca?©, Chris) Neal of Rockford, grandchildren, Noah, Rhylin, Ava, Amaya, Liam, and Cameron; special friend, Sue Gallagher; brother, Neville Neal of Tennessee; 2 nephews and 1 niece.Predeceased by his wife, Mary and his parents.Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd, Rockford.Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Saturday.Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.Memorials may be made to the family.
