Rockford- Kathy J. King, 57, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born April 24, 1958 in Rockford, the daughter of James & Opal (Smallwood) King. Kathy had a passion for painting, coloring, and going out to eat. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
Survivors include sisters; Mary (Allan) Pederson, Marcia (Gary) Cook, Carol Encheff, and Linda Gray; brothers Harold (Carolyn), Leon (Jane), Eddie (Patty), Mark (Jan), Mitchell (Julie), Billy (Cindy), and Nathan (Vicky) King; sister in law Sue King. Predeceased by parents, brothers Tom and Junior King, sister Karen Jean Osborne and brother in law Julius Osborne.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory. 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the GiGi’s Playhouse Rockford in her name. Send online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
