Kathryn "Kay" A. Hall

Kathryn “Kay” A. Hall 96, of Rockford, passed away February 14, 2021. She was born on December 28, 1924, in Chicago, IL to Roland and Amanda (Dix) Caswell. Kay married Eugene Hall in 1955 and together they raised their three children. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Kay enjoyed dancing, bird watching, and gardening. She was an active member of the Rockford Garden Club and loved flowers.

Kay is survived by her children, Julie Hall, Chris Hall, and Janie Hall; her cousins, Carol and Ann; and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters in laws. She was preceded in death by his parents; husband of 30 years, Eugene; her brother Melvin and infant brother.

Kay’s family extends a special thank you to Northern Illinois Hospice.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108. Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd, Rockford, IL 61107 with burial to follow at Cedar Bluff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made in Kay’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.stjude.org .
