Kathleen M. Haight-Zajicek

Beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother, and friend Kathleen "Kathy" M. Haight-Zajicek, 61, Rockford, died suddenly, Friday, June 5, 2009, in her home. Kathy was born in Rockford July 26, 1947, the daughter of John E. and Catherine (O"Day) Haight. She married Ronald Atkins in 1966, and had two daughters, Ronda and Kristi. Kathy later married Rick Zajicek in 1994. Kathy had the ability to be the life of the party. She would always put a smile on every ones face. She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and compassion for life. Kathy leaves to cherish many loving memories with her husband, Rick of Rockford; daughters, Kristi Hernandez and Ronda Gonzalez, both of Rockford; grandchildren, Johnny, Joey, Ari, Reinaldo, Rico and Katelen; special lifelong best friend, Lillian (Rick) Quam of Rockton. Predeceased by her parents and a sister, Caroline. Visitation Tuesday, June 9, 2009, from 5 until 7 pm, with a time of sharing at 7 pm, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Rockton Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Rockford, IL 61103.
