Katherine S. Hade

Katherine Sue Hade, 60, lifelong resident of Rockford, Illinois, passed away on November 3rd, 2022.

Katherine was born on April 12th, 1962 to parents Patricia and George Smith in Rockford, Illinois. After Katherine graduated from Guilford High School, she worked for the Rockford Cubbies and then at UPS in Small Sort before starting her career as a union business agent representing the UPS Air Hub for Teamsters Local 710, where she continued to work for almost 20 years.

Katherine had two children, Andrew and Allison.

Katherine spent her time living with her family and enjoying her hobbies, which included crocheting, knitting, and being with her family.

Katherine was predeceased by her father George Smith. She is survived by her mother Patricia Smith, her son Andrew Hade, and her daughter Allison Hade.

Services will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108 on November 14th. Visitation will be held from 10am until noon, followed by a funeral service and reception.
