Katelynn M. Gourley

Katelynn M. Gourley, 22, Rockford, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 18, 2013. She was born in Hoffman Estates on February 19, 1991; the daughter of Michael and Coleen (Patz) Gourley. Katelynn was a wonderful mother; always putting her children first. Katie had a wonderful sense of humor; she enjoyed joking and a laughing among friends. She had a true passion and a talent for writing poetry and songs, as well as, playing softball. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and those who knew her. She is survived by her mother, Coleen Gourley, brothers, Michael Gourley and Giannie Flores; children, Isabella May and Riley Grace; grandmother, Phyllis Patz; many special cousins and several aunts and uncles. Private family services will be held at a later date. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to have assisted the family.
