Karmen M. Friedrich

Karmen M. (Knutsen) Friedrich, 83, Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Belvidere. She was born on January 24, 1942, in Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of Herme and Faith (Wilcox) Knutsen. She married David Friedrich on September 26, 1973, in Peoria, Illinois. She loved to buy clothes, reading, and traveling with her husband to Florida, where she would sit and watch the Gulf of Mexico. She loved her dogs most of all.

She is survived by her husband, David Friedrich; and her niece, Kathy Dueck. She is preceded by her parents, and her brother Kay Knutsen.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 1:00 until the Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
