Karen F. Dal Santo

Karen F. Dal Santo, 57, of Rockford, passed away on July 14, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 19, 1959 in Rockford, the daughter of Orvin and Sonja (Rostamo) Anderson. She was a graduate of East High School. On October 13, 1984 she married the love of her life, Thomas Dal Santo at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Karen was an avid reader, loved summer, flowers, her shopping and lunch days or piecing together a new outfit for every occasion. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife and mother. Watching her boys grow up brought her the most joy. Karen will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; her sons, Alex and Bryan Dal Santo; her siblings, Dan Anderson and Karla Anderson; her father and mother in-law, John and Ann Dal Santo; sister in-laws, Mary Kay (Gary) Nelson, Sue (Glenn) Hammack, and Judi (Joel) Blomberg; numerous cousins, aunts, and many wonderful friends. She is predeceased by her parents.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4620 20th street, Rockford. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, MulfordChapel, and will continue the following morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial Willwood Burial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.
