Julie H. Pavlik 1920 – 2017
Julie H. Pavlik, 97, of Rockford, went home to our Lord reuniting with her beloved husband Leo, on Monday, November 20, 2017. She was born in Rockford on June 28, 1920; the daughter of Raymond and Elsie (Orlealia) Jackno. Julie married her loving husband, Leo Pavlik on July 28, 1943 and they spent 74 years together before Leo’s passing on September 11, 2017. She worked for National Lock and Amerock Corp. for a number of years prior to working in sales for the Dixie Dress Shop. She was a wonderful seamstress, making many of her own clothes. Julie was a devout member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was not only a wonderful wife, but Julie was a very considerate and helpful person, especially during her younger years. She always was willing to help others who were in need of help or assistance.
Julie is the loving aunt of Sandra (Robert) Walk, and numerous relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, parents; brother, Tony Jackno; sisters, Ella Koehler and Stephanie Bale; and brother in-law, Gerald Koehler.
