Julie E. Fedor

Julia “Julie” E. Fedor, 82 of Rockford, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 in her home with family at her side. She was born on April 15, 1933 in Chicago, the daughter of Thomas and Henrietta (Yonker) Delanty. Graduated from Evangelical Hospital of Chicago Nursing School and married her loving husband, Chester Fedor. Worked many years in the hospital and moved on to home health care eventually retiring to enjoy her beautiful family. She was a kind and caring woman who always had the answer and knew the family history like the back of her hand. Julie will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Chester of Rockford; sons, Richard (Diane) of Lindstrom, MN, William (Lauren) and Steve(Cathy) both of Cherry Valley; grandchildren, Bryce, Jaymee, Clayton and Alice Fedor and Jonathan (Tawny) Decorie and great grandson, Ronin Decorie. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Delanty and sister, Loretta Robinson.
Funeral Mass Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Dr., at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 9 a.m. until time of prayer at 10:45 a.m. at church. Interment will be private.
