Julie A. Morehouse

Julie A. Morehouse, 56, of Machesney Park, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born March 11, 1953 in Falls City, NE., daughter of John and Harriet (Rudolph) Falter. Married her loving husband of 35 years, Fred E. Morehouse, on June 7, 1974 in Falls City, NE.  Julie was a long time employee at Marys Market.  She was a devout member of St. Anskars Episcopal Church and served on the Altar Guild. Her hobbies included reading and supporting her Nebraska Cornhuskers, but her most cherished hobby and love was being a grandmother to Maile Jane, Johnathon and Abby. Survivors include her husband, Fred; children, Matt of Phoenix, AZ., Mike of Boise, ID., and Katy of Chicago; granddaughter, Maile Jane Morehouse of Boise, ID.; mother, Harriet Falter; siblings, Jeff Falter, Dobey (Butch) Haws and Cathy Davis of NE. and special friends, Bekee (Tom) Giesecke and their children, Johnathon and Abby all of Poplar Grove and her faithful K9 companions, Jake and Emma. She was preceded in death by her Father. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.  Memorial service Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anskars Episcopal Church, 4801 Spring Creek Rd. with Rev. Andrea Wight officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to St. Anskars or Winnebago County Humane Society.
