Julia Lopez

Julia Lopez, 89, Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. She was born on May 25, 1934, in Mexico. She is the daughter of Aurelio and Antonia (Cano) Corral. Julia married Miguel Lopez in 1968.

She is survived by her children, Lilia Corral, David (Rosalinda) Lopez, and Saul (Misty) Lopez; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren ; two brothers and one sister; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is preceded by her parents, and three brothers.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church 3004 11th Street., Rockford, IL 61109. A visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel. 1860 S.
