Judy L. Gsell-Kittel

Rockford

Judith L. Gsell-Kittel, 82, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, in the Health Center of Wesley Willows. She was born August 5, 1941 to J. Herbert and Gertrude Reichenbach Gsell. 

 Judy spent most of her life in Rockford. She graduated from Rockford West High School in 1959. She worked at Atwood Vacuum Machine Company for many years. She was an active member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church and sang in the choir for more than 50 years. 

 She loved animals especially horses and cats. In her later years she enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her many friends.

 She is survived by her brother Joseph Robert Gsell (Mary), nephew Matt Gsell, niece Elizabeth Gsell, and great nephews Everett and Ernie Farnham. 

 Judy was predeceased by her parents and husband Ed Kittel.

A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, August 3rd, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4055 N. Rockton Avenue at 11:00 a.m. A memorial reception will begin prior to the service at 10:30.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
