Judy A. Cuppini

July 15, 1949 — September 27, 2014

Judy A. Cuppini, 65, of Rockford, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at St. Anne Center. She was born on July 15, 1949 the daughter of Eugene and Hazel (Clark) Trosper. Graduate of Harlem High School and married her loving husband, Robert Cuppini, in Rockford on July 24, 1985. Judy was an avid racquet ball player and even played competitively in Chicago. She had worked at and attended Rock Valley College. Judy worked for the US Post Office as a clerk for many years. She was very artistic, especially when it came to stained glass, her home is full of beautiful pieces she created. She also liked to garden and learned a thing or two from her mother-in-law about Italian cooking. She had a wonderful smile that filled the room and her personality could win you over in a heartbeat. Judy will be deeply missed by those that had the chance to meet her.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; step-sons, Jon and Paul Cuppini ; brother, William A. (Linda) Trosper and niece, Laura(Dan) Schweitzer. Preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd with Rev. Randy Young officiating. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment will be held in Arlington Memorial Park.
