Judith Armato

Judith Ann Armato 70 of Rockford passed away Sunday June 9, 2013 in OSF St Anthony Medical Center. She was born December 14, 1942 in Rockford, the daughter of Elmer and Nellie Johnson. Graduated From East High School Class of 1960. She married Peter Armato on April 30, 1966 in Rockford. Peter predeceased her on July 11, 1993. Member of St Rita Catholic Church. Judy had many careers throughout her life; she was a very stylish woman who loved her bling. She enjoyed jewelry making and her creativity was displayed in the pieces she designed. loved her kids and grandkids and was very active in their lives.

Survivors include her Three children, Tina (Michael) Walter, Michael Armato and Mark Armato all of Rockford. Four grandchildren, Erick and Nicholas Walter, Emma and Peter Armato. Two sisters, Nancy Beard and Janet Jensen both of Rockford. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Husband Peter and Sister, Diane Johnson. Special thanks to Dr. Edwards and his staff at ACT and the staff at OSF Ambulatory Care Center for their kindness and loving care.

Memorial service at 7pm Friday June 14, 2013 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 S. Mulford Road. Memorial Visitation from 5pm until 7pm Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family.
