Rockford—Juanita Florence Metters, 92 of Rockford died Thursday, June 4, 2015. Born February 22, 1933 in Pecatonica, Il to Ortho and Kathleen (Beetle) Cropp. Married Robert Grant Metters on July 24, 1954. Long time member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Juanita enjoyed quilting, antiquing, reading beaing a caregiver to all.
Survived by her husband Bob, Sons; Jeff (Connie), Joel (Sherry) and Timothy; Grandchildren, Jessica, Lydia, Megan, Robbie, Brittany and Sarah; Great-grandchildren; Hailey, Kayleen, Christopher, Gabriel, Nicholas, Sabrina, Andrew, Brayden, Ethan, Autumn, Kyrie and Jasper; Sister, Betty (Wayne) Gable; Brothers, Vince Cropp, Milt (Ann) Cropp and Ron (Barb) Cropp. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, son, Andrew, Daughter Jill Ann, Granddaughter Jill Ann, 3 sisters; Lois, Eveyln and Kathy. A heartful thank you to everyone at Heartland Hospice especially Chaplain Rob, Emily, Megan, Becky and Abby.
Funeral Mass 10 am Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at St. Bernadette Catholic church 2400 N. Bell Ave. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
