Born January 17, 1924 in Puerto Rico, daughter of Benigno and Julia (Sanchez) Otero.nbsp; A home maker all her life raising her children; Amalia Melendez and Francisco Rivera. She is the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Funeral service Friday, October 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 nbsp;S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL . Visitation from 9 to 11 in the funeral home. Interment in Arlington Memorial Cemetery.
