Joshua Anthony "Josh" Rowell

Joshua A. Rowell, 31, Rockford, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, due to injuries resulting from an auto accident. He was born July 31, 1985, in Rockford, the son of Doug and Martha (Rowell) Presson. Joshua worked for Dasco in Rockford. He enjoyed drawing, video gaming, skate boarding and tattooing. He had a passion for cooking and made some fantastic recipes that were enjoyed by his family and friends. Joshua loved his family and especially his babies.
Survived by his fiancé, Rachel Knapp; his children, Rihanna and Romeo Rowell; his step-children, Cheyanne, Jaden, Lyanna, and Layla; his mother and step-father, Martha and Doug Presson; his brother, Stephon Rowell; his sister, Vanessa (Perry) Rowell-Jones; his step-brother, Jesse (Kara) Presson; his step-sister, Sarah (Myron) Hodge; several nieces and nephews and other half siblings. Predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Reverend Randy Hargate officiating.
