Josephine T. Coniglio

Josephine T. Coniglio, 85, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in Provena St. Anne Center surrounded by close family. Born July 5, 1925 in Rockford; the daughter of Anthony and Christine (Maggio) Gulotta. Married Joseph Coniglio on February 6, 1954. A woman of strong faith, Josephine was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, taking cruises with her husband and shopping.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph; children, Mary Jo (Stan) Owens, David (Debbie) Coniglio, Christine Coniglio and Ann (Mike) Murphy; grandchildren, Lindsey and Alex Murphy and Joe and Jason Coniglio; sister, Angie (Paul) Schmoker; sister-in-law, JoAnne Gulotta; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; daughter, Kathy Coniglio and brother, Jay Gulotta.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Andrew Mulcahey officiating. Entombment in Calvary Catholic Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30a.m. on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center, 4215 Newburg Rd.
