Josephine Rosella Baldridge

Josephine Rosella Baldridge of Rockford passed away January 29, 2011 in her home. She was born December 7, 1915 in Rockford. The daughter of Joseph and Josephine Guarino. She was married to D.T. Baldridge for over 25 years and worked at Rockford Products for over 30 years. She was often called Jo, little Jo or JoJo. A hard worker who always thought of others first, was muched loved by everyone who knew her. She was a lifetime member of St Anthony Church. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were always in her heart. Josephine enjoyed gardening, dancing and bowling. Josephine was close to all of her family, friends and neighbors and she had a sweet quiet manner and a great sense of humor. She is survived by her daughter; Michele (Harold) Grenert; grandchildren: Randy (Cindy) Grenert), Rick (Keli) Grenert, Brannon (Angie) Grenert; great grandchildren; Dayton, Jordan, Rose, Cody, Shawn and Ethan Grenert. Brothers; Sam (Geri) Guarino, Jasper (Anita) Guarino and Sister Lillian Joy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, brother, Nick Guarino and her daughter Kathleen Farr. The family would like to thank Northern Illinois Hospice for the special care they gave to Josephine during her short illness. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am Thursday February 3, 2011 in St Anthony Church with the Franciscan Friars officiating. Visitation from 9am until time of service Thursday in the church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to NI Hospice or the Kathleen M. Farr Fund for Education, for her students at St. Mel's School in Citrus Heights, CA.
