Josephine "Jo" M. (Gagliani) Lucido, 91 Rockford Josephine "Jo" M. Lucido, 91 of Rockford died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 10:30 p.m. Born April 21, 1918 in Beloit, WI to Joseph and Angeline (Pompalone) Gagliani. She married Gasper T. Lucido Sr. in Rockford on March 31, 1945. Josephine worked in many factories before opening her beauty salon at her home for 30 years. Jo was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.Survivors; Sons, Gasper "Jasper" Lucido, Michael (Mary) Lucido; grandchildren, Michael, Michelle (Scott) Sandau, Megan (Stephan) Hesse; Great-Grandson Cohen Lucido numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband Gasper died Oct. 27, 1980, sister Rose Stretz and Brother Tony Gagliani, Sisters Lena Mistretta and Leona Jorstad.The family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the CNAs and RNs for their compassionate care for mom during her stay at Wesley Willows.Funeral mass 10 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 2300 Bell Ave. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 9 until 9:45 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at St. Bernadettes Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association 4777 E.
